Susan Hauser Designs was born over 15 years ago in Charleston, SC, and offers unique artisan jewelry with simple elegant details.

Our goal is to add beauty and a bit of fun to everyday living!

 Always drawn to art and design, Susan learned artisan techniques for creating jewelry from a local art studio in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina after leaving a corporate sales career in Chicago to raise her three children. It soon became her passion to create for other women.

​

Fascinated with the qualities and natural beauty of faceted gemstones, they are her medium of choice in jewelry design.  Inspired by the elegance of Italian and French 18th and 19th-century jewelry and monochromatic color schemes, Susan designs with small clusters of faceted stones, pearls, and precious metals.   Every piece is uniquely designed and handmade using various wire wrapping and jewelry-making techniques.

Over the years, she has also developed a passion for incorporating vintage and estate lockets and unique finds into her designs.  Her years of living and selling through boutiques and galleries in Charleston and other southern towns have offered a wealth of opportunity to hunt for unique treasures.   Each locket or iconic treasure has a unique story all its own..
